At Physio Performance Drogheda, we focus on finding and fixing the
root cause of your dizziness, vertigo, or balance problems —
not just managing the symptoms.

Whether it’s BPPV (benign paroxysmal positional vertigo), vestibular neuritis,
labyrinthitis, or another inner ear issue, we carry out a thorough assessment

Our goal isn’t just short-term relief — it’s long-term results.

We want to help you get back to doing what you love — whether that’s driving,
walking without fear of falling, returning to work, sleeping without the room spinning,
or simply feeling safe and in control in your own body — without dizziness holding you back.

FAQS

Yes. We specialise in vestibular physiotherapy — a highly effective, evidence-based treatment for dizziness, vertigo, and balance disorders. Many patients see significant improvement after just a small number of sessions.

Vestibular physiotherapy is a specialist form of physiotherapy that assesses and treats problems originating from the inner ear and balance system. It uses specific techniques — such as the Epley Manoeuvre for BPPV, and gaze stabilisation and balance retraining exercises — to reduce dizziness and restore normal function.

We treat a wide range of vestibular conditions including BPPV (the most common cause of vertigo), vestibular neuritis, labyrinthitis, persistent postural perceptual dizziness (PPPD), cervicogenic dizziness, and balance disorders following concussion or head injury.

This depends on your specific condition. BPPV, for example, can often be resolved in one to three sessions. More complex vestibular conditions may require a longer course of treatment. We’ll give you a clear picture of what to expect at your initial assessment.

No. You can self-refer directly to us. Simply call 041-9877059 or book online and we’ll get you in as soon as possible.

Your first session will involve a detailed assessment of your symptoms, balance, eye movements, and inner ear function. From there we’ll explain exactly what’s causing your dizziness and begin your personalised treatment plan straight away.

Absolutely. Balance problems and dizziness are particularly common as we get older, and vestibular physiotherapy is a safe, gentle, and highly effective treatment for people of all ages. Improving balance also significantly reduces the risk of falls.

Some exercises may temporarily increase symptoms during the early stages — this is completely normal and is actually a sign that the treatment is working. Your therapist will guide you carefully through every step and make sure you’re comfortable throughout.
